a lesson to many academic gaps: how far from the university world muffled the tv
I knew of the problems that afflict the university experience them directly but was and is quite different. The first year without laboratories (except at the end of April for other structures away from the classrooms where you lesson), with a few classrooms, most of which have limited capacity and the result is that many people were standing or sitting on the ground when he went evil mess tent in a dirty (in fact, summer has been suspended by the ASL), where it was cold in winter and hot in the summer with dogs and cats that could enter freely. Lack of classrooms for the study, total chaos in transport, lack of organization between virtual and real office, speaking on paper and line.Studenti offsite forced to pay too alfitti high or alternatively, to travel daily to 100-200 km.
expecting them to me but I thought these problems would be solved in a year at least in part. However, the situation this year so I can sum it up: the classrooms are always the same with overcrowded conditions. The table has been restored in a few weeks ago with a container 4 months of delay after numerous protests, demonstrations and raids. The student housing off-site in a few cities with high rents and: several cases where people even made money on behalf of students who died the night of the earthquake: in particular the fantozziana diatribe on the campus "Giulia Carnevale" of Pizzoli dove gli studenti non si vedono ancora restituire le somme corrispondenti alle caparre che avevano versato "al buio" prima che la struttura fosse sequestrata dalla Procura. Una delle more shame to me, is the state of abandonment in which lies the multipurpose facility donated by the Canadian government, which cost € 3.5 million and opened four months ago. Never used, equipped with a nice parking lot, planted 55 maple trees around here, just a few steps from our learning center, but inaccessible. As far as transport is another fact that pisses me off: Since August of us crater seismic repay tickets and passes out of town. People like me who live in a country that is not included among the beneficiaries drawn down by a special decree, is obliged to pay (except for undergraduate, graduate and postgraduate). Those who come from outside the free travel and we think we should be the first to "take advantage" (and so to say, given the sorry state of the carrier) the benefits of this emergency period, we on the contrary the first to be exploited.
few days ago we were given the Student Bill of Rights. Well, reading it thoroughly, I noticed that almost all articles of this charter are not met, some partially and others entirely. I leave aside any talk of baronies because it would take another post and frankly I do not like. The crucial point for me is that, whether by personal facts, gaps, etc. but especially the combination of the shortcomings mentioned earlier by others that I can not remember, I do not feel good in this university. I always thought that the university was a place where one could learn as well as also and above all practice. A place to learn a profession, because we are professionals as determined by a Decree of 2008 and graduates who became a scientist. The scientist has a life to deepen the theory, but must hurry to carry out in practice, otherwise it will never be equal to the task that awaits him. You may not live up to expectations (which are many) because those who graduated in biological sciences may happen to do things that require a high responsibility towards yourself and towards others. I see a lot of people who follow courses more "dangerous" as infiermeristiche sciences and medicine, an air of arrogance m'inorridisce and indifference that the thought that one day I might fall into the hands of those people and be killed. In my course, people seem more serious, it is certain that the feeling of turning the thumbs of the gorilla is shared by many s Aquila Today the university is useless as it is done but I feel that way in much of Italy (thanks to what some journalists who open our eyes to the many earthquakes that affect the research and culture). From one year to the politicians and licking of the latter are babbling of "post-earthquake": but what post? Here we are in full earthquake. Political, legal, criminals, social and cultural.
